Goyo - capturing time

Three young film students travel to Argentina to make a film about the underground director Goyo Anchou. But as filming progresses, Goyo begins to incorporate the students into his own 8 mm film. The friendship that develops is - for better or worse - marked by this meta process. Transience and self-realisation are key themes. 

Directed, shot and edited in collaboration with Lindsay Sanner & Emilia Danilovic.

Shot in Argentina in January 2007 during the education Film- & TV-production at Westerdals School of Communication.
